How Are JonnyPops Made?

Our frozen pops are self-manufactured in Minnesota, where we focus on quality, consistency, and care in every pop. After freezing and packing, our pops begin their journey to retailers and consumers across the country!

Can You Tell Us About Jonny?

Jonathan or “Jonny”, was one of the original founders of JonnyPops. In college, Erik and Jonathan had a dream to start a business that created simple and delicious frozen pops. Sadly – before he saw his dream become a reality – Jonny passed away following a struggle with addiction. We named our company after him to honor and remember the impact he had, and have kind deeds printed on every JonnyPops stick to always try to share more kindness in the world!

When Was JonnyPops Founded?

Our co-founders started JonnyPops as college students in 2011, using blenders and real fruit in their dorm rooms to create delicious flavor combinations. Since our humble beginnings, our mission has always been to make the world a better place, one pop at a time. Today, our pops can be found in grocery stores nationwide. Read our full story here !

What Are The Ingredients In JonnyPops?

What Is Your Allergen Statement?

We manage and label the Big 9 US Allergens (Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Soy, Fish, Shellfish, and Sesame) as required by the FDA. Our policy is also to use a cautionary warning when the line is shared with other products that contain Big 9 US Allergens. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity outside of the Big 9 US Allergens, we cannot advise whether or not you consume the pop. The FDA is no longer considering Coconut a Tree Nut. We are following their guidelines on allergen labeling. Coconut will continue to be listed in the ingredients list when present. While our pops do share lines, we have a validated allergen management program to ensure against cross contact. This includes product segregation, sanitation, and testing. Our sanitation programs meet all US regulatory requirements as well as those for SQF certification, recognized worldwide.

Are JonnyPops Organic?

Are JonnyPops Kosher?

Many of our pops are certified kosher by the Chicago Rabbinical Council. Look for the cRc symbol on each box. Our cream pops are certified kosher D (for dairy). Our non-dairy pops are certified kosher pareve, which means suitable for eating with meat or dairy products. Our Freezer Pops are certified kosher pareve by the Kosher Supervision of America. Look for the KSA pareve symbol on each bag. Check out the full list of ingredients here .

Do Your Pops Use GMOs or Bio-Engineered Ingredients?

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) or bio-engineered food ingredients are not allowed in organic certified products. Check out the full list of ingredients here .
